A Geographical, Historical and Spiritual Journey: the journey our forefathers took as they wandered the desert in search of the Promised Land.
According to Professor Emanuel Anati’s research, the Biblical “Mountain of God” is what we today call Mount Karkoum. It is a mountain rich with archeological findings and rock engravings, rare in their beauty and significance.
Every year during the Jewish Passover we repeat this obligation, “In every generation each person must regard himself as if he himself had come out of Egypt”.
An exodus to freedom requires the leaving behind of old concepts, and the stepping into the unknown with faith and confidence. In our journey to Mount Karkoum we take an inner voyage as we walk a route similar to that of the ancient Children of Israel, across the desert soil, beneath the desert sky.
Ceremonies and Transitions are performed throughout the journey.
During this spiritual journey we may find the Promised Land, that which is within.
