The Bedouins in our area are our good friends. Quite often we enjoy the hospitality of Halil and Suliman in their tents.
Every year Halil and Suliman move with their families down into the Kanaim valley to spend the winter season there, and every summer they return with their tents to the nearby hill just across the Wadi where we live.
The walk through the wadis to Halil and Suliman takes somewhere between half an hour to two hours, depending on our level of hunger! We are served traditional sweet tea and bitter coffee, and a meat meal is available for those who favor such a dish.
